READY TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP?

In order to start cooking in our facility, you’ll need to become a Member at Kitchen Collab. The first step in the process is for you to provide us with some details and fill out this Membership Inquiry Form.

Once we’ve had the chance to review your submission, we’ll reach out to discuss your food business concept further. Our available space is limited and fluctuates with the seasons, so it’s always worth contacting us to see if we’re accepting new Members at the time.

KITCHEN MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

To become a Kitchen Collab Member, we’ll need:

  • Food Handling: a valid copy of your Food Safety Manager Certificate, and Food Handler’s cards for your employees.

  • Liability Insurance: proof of liability insurance up to at least $2,000,000 with Kitchen CoLab LLC and our landlord Truckee Crossroads S.C., LP listed as additional insured, and maintain such policy for the duration of any kitchen use. We suggest FLIP insurance.

  • Permits: copies of valid county and state permits, in addition to a complete Nevada County Commissary Verification Form (if applicable).

  • Security Deposit: before you begin work in our kitchen you must furnish an $800 deposit and a valid State ID.

  • Contract: a signed copy of the latest Member Handbook, and Membership Terms and Conditions Agreement with Kitchen Collab.

  • Online Account: to book time in the kitchen and pay monthly fees you’ll sign up for a free account at The Food Corridor, requesting Kitchen Collab as your home kitchen.

  • Orientation: you and your team will complete the Kitchen Orientation with our Kitchen Manager before cooking.

Once those documents are on file, Members can reserve kitchen time and get cooking. All Members have access to our kitchen 24/7.
